Simulation

A few days back, I was just resting in my home fiddling with the remote of my television as usual. I was looking for some program that was new and interesting; Bored, I switched over to English movie channels, and saw a film which was half completed by then. Within a few minutes of time I could realize that it was a murder mystery and started to watch it.

The story was going like this: A greatest scientist of times would have been killed and the detective who steps into this case will find that all circumstantial evidence points to the hero to be the murderer. So, in order to prove his innocence the hero will step to find out the truth. He will suspect that the scientist who created a virtual world out of his computer aided simulations, with simulation models believing to be true human beings is the reason that paved for his murder, but will end up with a shocking truth that he himself is a simulation model and the scientist was not murdered but his program was deleted by the user, who created them.

As I was watching this movie, there was a sudden rush of several events of my life that was going through my mind. Right from my passion to become a doctor and end up as an engineer. My wish to become a computer engineer but ended up with electronics. My aim to join some good company, but pursuing my P.G unwillingly. Wanted to be a blogger some 2 years backs but writing my first blog just now. Though these events are apparently disorder, the application of chaos theory just provides a single line answer, “That I am not the real driver of my own life”.

If it is so, then are we just a simulation models? Simulated and controlled by some super power (hopefully god)!!! If we are just simulations, then why should we bother about the problems that surrounds us or why should we feel happy for some positive events that occurs, as we are not responsible for either of them?

Just Think!!!
